McCaughey Foods is a family run business founded over 60 years ago. We are firmly rooted in the local community in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan from where we sell our produce across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
From a flock of nine birds in 1951, to two large scale production factories in 2023, McCaughey Foods have expanded exponentially over the past seven decades, with an exciting future ahead.

In the early days, our family business quickly grew from growing Turkeys for Christmas to supplying raw turkeys throughout Ireland. In 1997, we started our cooked meats business which today proudly involves four generations.
The McCaughey family have been involved in the poultry business since 1951. It was established by Catherine McCaughey, who lived to her 102nd year, starting with a flock of nine birds raised to be sold for Christmas 1951.
The company has a highly-respected name in the industry for quality and reliability.
