Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

Serves 4

  • McCaughey Foods Sliced Beef, cut into strips
  • 2 nests egg noodles
  • 1 head of broccoli florets, cut into small florets
  • 100g mushroom, sliced
  • 1 onion, Thinly Sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp sesame seed oil

Method

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, rinse and set aside. 
  • Parboil broccoli florets, mix the ingredients for the sauce together in a small bowl. 
  • Heat the olive oil and sesame seed oil in a wok until very hot, add the onions and garlic, stir fry for 2 minutes, add the mushrooms and broccoli and stir fry until vegetables are tender, 2-4 minutes.  Add the beef strips, noodles and sauce to the wok, gently stirring until well coated and hot. Lightly season and serve.

  • ½ Cup Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 4tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2tbsp Light Soya Sauce
